I Did It

I finally ran the Chicago half marathon. I ran it at time short if two hours. I came in twelfth in my division, kids ages thirteen to fifteen. I had a great time. I placed a little over three thousandth place against eleven thousand people.

I ran 12 miles last Saturday, And am cutting my weekday runs down to 4 miles. Not, the usual 5 to 8 miles. I am gonna run another 12 miles this Sunday.

Sorry I have not been Blogging

I am sorry I have not been blogging lately, I was busy with other things. Last Sunday, I ran 8 miles. Today I ran about ten and a half miles in the rain. I felt great running a long distance. I can't wait for the half marathon. 

Recent Runs

I am about to go on a two mile run now , that short because of the heat. On Saturday I ran 8 miles and I was off Sunday. I ran about 4 miles on Monday with the Notre Dame XC team. I will try to keep blogging as often as I remember.

A Lot to Blog About

Sorry I have not been blogging in a long time. I just sort of forgot and put it off when I remembered. A week after I got my teeth pulled (see last post) I went to the foot doctors for some problems with my foot. The stuff the doctor put on mad my foot hurt really bad so I wasn't able to run for three days. I ran a 5k last Sunday in 20 minutes with a bad foot. I am going to run another on the 23rd. I have also been running with the NotreDame HS Cross Country team. Let's start out with today. Today I ran 7.5 miles. I felt pretty good. I was off Friday. On Thursday I ran about 8 800 meter sprints each 3 minutes apart with the NotreDame Cross Country team. On Wednesday I ran a mile because I was out of town. I was off on Tuesday. On Monday I ran five miles. On Sunday I ran the 5k.

I Have Not Been Running

The reason I have not been blogging is because I have not beeen running. The reason. I have not been running is because I recently have had mouth surgery.  Five teeth pulled. Two rotated upright. And if that is not enough, surgically remove the impacted tooth. For those of you who think they can though that all out, I had tissue in my removed. Hopefully I will be running by Tuesday.
